Find the Performance Issues Costing You Revenue
A structured 2-week audit of your Magento platform — performance, security, architecture, upgrade readiness. You get a prioritized roadmap with estimated impact, not just a list of problems.
What You Don't Know IS Hurting Your Business
Every day without a proper audit, these hidden issues compound:
Revenue Leaks You Can't See
Slow page loads, checkout failures, and search issues silently kill conversions. Our audits reveal an average 15-30% improvement opportunity.
Security Vulnerabilities Waiting to Strike
Outdated modules, misconfigurations, and coding flaws create attack vectors. One breach can cost millions and destroy customer trust.
Technical Debt Compounding Daily
Poor code quality and architectural issues make every change harder and more expensive. Development velocity decreases 20% yearly.
Integration Bottlenecks Limiting Growth
Inefficient APIs and poor integration patterns prevent you from adopting new tools and scaling operations.
Deep Insights in Just 1-2 Weeks
What is a Magento audit? A structured technical review of a Magento or Adobe Commerce platform — code, configuration, infrastructure, integrations, and operational practices — producing a prioritised findings list with evidence, business risk, estimated effort, and remediation guidance. Used when stores hit performance walls, integration drift, regulatory changes, or pre-acquisition due diligence. The output is a costed remediation plan, not a vague "everything looks fine."

Magento 2.4.6 regular support ends August 11, 2026
Stores on 2.4.6 are within months of regular support end. Extended support runs to August 30, 2027. Audits should treat any 2.4.6 store as needing an upgrade roadmap, not just a security review.
2.4.5 and 2.4.4 are already out of regular support
2.4.5 ended August 12, 2025; 2.4.4 ended April 12, 2025. Stores still running these versions get no security patches from Adobe and represent a real PCI/security risk.
PHP 8.1 has reached end of support
PHP 8.1 ended security support in 2025. PHP 8.2 ends at the end of 2026. Adobe lists this explicitly as a PCI compliance risk for merchants. Latest 2.4.x supports PHP 8.3 and 8.4.
Latest GA is 2.4.8 (released April 8, 2025)
2.4.8 supports PHP 8.3/8.4, MariaDB 10.6 or 11.4, OpenSearch 2/3, RabbitMQ 4.1. Audits commissioned in 2026 should benchmark against this baseline rather than older requirement sets.

Which kind of audit produces what kind of value?
Audits exist on a spectrum from free self-checks to enterprise SI engagements. Each produces a different deliverable with different bias.
| Audit type | What it produces | Typical bias | Best for |
|---|---|---|---|
| Free self-audit (DIY checklist) | Surface-level findings; checklists you already half-know | Internal team's own blindspots and recency bias | Tight-budget teams who want a starting point before commissioning paid work |
| Magento agency audit | Findings list, often shaped as a follow-on engagement scope | Vendor-aligned — agency may bias toward services they sell | Teams already considering working with that agency anyway |
| Independent consultant audit (this offer) | Prioritised findings with evidence; remediation plan with effort estimates | Vendor-neutral but still consultant-shaped — I have opinions | Teams that need a third opinion before committing engineering budget |
| Adobe Commerce SI audit | Enterprise-scope review with Adobe partner badge | Adobe-platform-aligned; recommendations bias toward Adobe ecosystem | Pre-Adobe Commerce migration or post-incident review at enterprise scale |
No audit is bias-free. The honest move is to know which bias each carries and pick the one whose bias is acceptable for your decision.
When a Magento audit isn't the right fit
Honest constraints. If any of these apply, an audit will not produce the value the price implies — talk to me about the alternative instead.
You already know the problem and need execution, not diagnosis
If the bottleneck is identified and the brief is clear, skip the audit and go straight to a scoped engagement.
Better fit: See /performance-optimization or /magento-custom-development.
You're on Shopify, BigCommerce, or a non-Magento platform
My audits are Magento and Adobe Commerce specific. The codebase, integration patterns, and operational risks I score are not transferable.
Better fit: For Shopify migrations, see /magento-to-shopify-migration.
Stakeholders won't allocate time for kickoff interviews and review sessions
The audit value comes from context-gathering — code, infrastructure, and process. A passive scan without conversations will surface superficial findings only.
Better fit: A short paid discovery call (1-2 hours) is a better starting point.
You need a fixed-fee build proposal in 48 hours
Audits take 2-4 weeks of structured work. They are not a fast-turn sales document.
Better fit: Schedule a discovery call instead — the conversation is enough to scope a focused engagement.
Your store does <€500k/yr and the audit price isn't recoverable
At small scale, the engineering improvements an audit recommends often cost more than the missed revenue they recover.
Better fit: A short office-hours session or community-led audit may give better ROI.
Not sure if an audit fits? Send a short note — I'll tell you honestly.
