Process

How does the assessment run?

Typically 1–2 weeks. Complex estates extend days 3–8, not the structure.

Days 1–2Access & context
Read-only repository access, CI configuration, architecture documentation, and 2–3 short interviews with the people who actually ship (lead developer, whoever owns releases, whoever owns the roadmap).
Days 3–8Inspection
We read the code, trace the workflow from ticket to production, run the analysis, and design the agentic workflow against your real constraints — not a reference architecture pasted onto your logo.
Days 9–10Delivery
Written deliverables plus a working session to walk through the scorecard, the backlog and the 90-day plan with your team. Questions answered until there aren't any.
Access

What access looks like.

Written to be forwarded to your security team as-is.

Read-only
Repository read access, CI configuration visibility, architecture docs. No production access, no customer data, no credentials beyond scoped read tokens you issue and revoke.
Your perimeter
Analysis happens against code you share under NDA. Nothing is uploaded to third-party tools outside the boundaries we agree in writing.
Your people, briefly
2–3 interviews of ~45 minutes. We're assessing the workflow, not auditing individuals.
Your model policy respected
If your organisation restricts model providers (Bedrock-only, EU-hosted, no external APIs), the assessment and the proposed workflow operate within that restriction — that constraint is an input to the design, not a blocker.

A good fit if:

You run a production commerce system — Magento / Adobe Commerce, Shopify, Odoo, or custom — with a real codebase and a team (in-house or agency) shipping to it.
You suspect agents could compress your delivery cycle or your operational load, but you need an engineering answer, not a vendor pitch.
Your constraints are real: compliance, approval chains, restricted model access. That's our home ground, not an obstacle.

Not a fit if:

There's no codebase yet — we assess engineering, we don't replace a platform-selection project.

Pricing

Fixed fee. Agreed before we start.

Every assessment runs on one fixed fee, quoted after a short scoping call and agreed before anything is signed. A straightforward engagement — one platform, one or a few repositories, one team — scopes quickly. Multi-repository estates, multiple systems (commerce + ERP/OMS/PIM), or multiple teams extend the scope, not the model: still one number, known up front. Never hourly, never open-ended.

In scope: everything in the assessment and the opportunity map above. Out of scope (by design): implementation of the workflow, and deep design or build of operational agents. Both are follow-on engagements — most naturally the Embedded Agentic Engineer.

No. Read-only repository and CI access plus architecture documentation. The assessment deliberately requires nothing that would concern your security team — the access section above is written to be forwarded to them.

No. Analysis runs under NDA within agreed boundaries, and any model usage follows your provider policy — including fully private options (AWS Bedrock, Google Vertex, or your own gateway). Model and data-boundary choices are documented in the governance deliverable.

Usually more relevant. Editor assistants accelerate individuals; the assessment addresses the system around them — tests, review, CI gates, permissions, measurement. That's where the compounding gains and the real risks both live. Your current tooling is an input, not a competitor.

Yes. The deepest platform expertise is Magento / Adobe Commerce, which is why the public proof is Magento-heavy — but the assessment operates on repositories, pipelines and workflows, which every platform has. Shopify, Odoo and custom stacks are in scope.
